Prince Albert Public Library strives to provide library services for every member of our community and to reach out to those who have difficulty visiting the library in person. Our Outreach Service provides pickup and delivery of library items from the library to your doorstep. If you have a physical or age-related disability or illness resulting in limited mobility, you qualify for our free Outreach Service.
Once registered for the service, library staff will contact you in order to discuss what kinds of topics and formats you prefer. Our staff will select books and other material relating to your personal reading profile.
The library delivers fiction and non-fiction books, movies, magazines, music and books on CD. The lending period for most Outreach Service materials is six weeks.
Library items are delivered once a month, and you can either apply to have your books delivered by a volunteer (depending on the number of volunteers some locations are unavailable for delivery), or you can have a family member, friend, or neighbour pick up and drop off your items for you.
If you are interested in our Outreach Service, please contact the library at 306-763-8496 and register.
