Mandatory Masking in Library

COVID-19 City of Prince Albert City Facilities To Minimize the Spread of Covid-19 Masks Mandatory Effective September 10 2021

Covid-19 continues to rise in Prince Albert. The Delta variant is highly contagious and is spreading. Given the rapid, uncontrolled rise in cases, last evening City Council approved a motion to require mandatory face masks for all City facilities effective Friday, September 10, 2021. This includes all Prince Albert Public Library locations.

These safety measures are back in place because Saskatchewan is entering a fourth wave with rising cases of COVID-19 and increased spread of the highly transmissible Delta variant. The health and safety of our employees and community remains the City’s top priority. Public health officials remind us that the best method to protect yourself against COVID-19 is to be fully vaccinated and to continue to practice everyday preventive actions including masking, washing your hands and physical distancing to prevent transmission.
